About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Founding Product Designer to lead the design of our AI-powered applications in the climate finance space. You will be responsible for the user experience, user interface, and overall design strategy of our products. This role requires a seasoned designer with 5+ years of experience in digital product design, who can collaborate with engineering and product teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. The role will inevitably blend together skills of a Designer, Product Manager, and Front-End Developer. You will be instrumental in shaping our product design culture and processes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall design strategy and roadmap for Ezra’s products.

  • Lead and contribute to the product design process from concept to launch, including user research, prototyping, visual design, component design, working with developers through implementation, and testing.

  • Design user-centered interfaces for full-stack applications that integrate LLMs and other AI services.

  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across all platforms and devices.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to define requirements, prioritize design efforts, and represent the user in implementation decisions.

  • Conduct user research to understand users deeply and create user journeys for new products and features.

  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.

  • Implement and maintain design systems and style guides.

  • Drive continuous improvement of design processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product design focused on UI/UX.

  • Proven track record of designing and launching successful digital products.

  • Experience designing interfaces for AI/ML applications.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and vibe/low coding solutions such as Bolt.

  • Experience with prototyping and user testing.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with financial data and documents.

  • Experience designing for data-heavy applications.

  • Experience with designing for AI/ML services and APIs.

  • Understanding of accessibility best practices.

  • Experience in fintech.
