Background
Asher has spent his career investing across a variety of asset classes and industry categories, with a focus on early-stage consumer products. Asher has substantial experience building and scaling emerging investment managers, including developing sourcing, investment research, and portfolio management capabilities.
Asher has been directly responsible for over a half billion dollars of early-stage private company investment in the five years prior to launching Redbud Ventures. Previously, Asher was a Managing Director at i80 Group, a private investment firm focused on breakthrough technology companies, and General Partner & MD of the CircleUp Credit Fund, a direct lender to early-stage consumer product brands. In 2020, Lendit Fintech named CircleUp the “Top Small Business Lender”. Asher has a BA from Harvard University.
